Adams cannot wait for pre-season
Micky Adams has told his Albion players to report for training on June 30 and said: "It can't come quick enough for me."
The new Seagulls boss met with players yesterday and sees the rest today.
Adams, back at the club he left almost seven years ago, said: "It felt a bit like being back at school on your first day. I met seven or eight of the players and told them what I expect of them."
Adams admitted he is keen to add more experience to the squad and revealed he would be taking the players on a training trip away from Brighton ahead of the new season.
The club are still waiting to hear whether Dean Wilkins will accept an offer to join Adams' coaching team. The Argus understands there may not be any news from the recently ousted manager this week.

News just in, there is no news this week but there is a rumour circulating that there could be some news next week according to a source who heard it from someones uncle who wishes to remain anonymous. Please comment

I may be mistaken but I thought I saw some news go past my window just now. It might be on its way to Birmingham where they too are expecting some news. Failing that, it might be on its way home for a lie down as it seems to have spread itself all over Brighton recently.

I wonder if the disgusting treatment handed out to David Gold by the so-called Birmingham "fans" over the weekend, after their relegation, will tempt him to leave the Midlands and invest some of his millions into the Seagulls, as hinted by the Argus several months ago?

Hey, I big enough an ugly enough to laugh when you are mocking me - especially as the news has yet to break, but trust me he has quit. Just wait. The Gary H thing was something I mentioned I overheard in house at BHA before Adams talked about it to the press. I might never happen, but they are looking at it. Not priviliged enough to know is they have spoken. Also know an offer came in for Sullivan either from Scunthorpe or Stockport BEFORE Dean got the elbow. Personally (this is me now so just from what I feel about the place) can't see the two Deans carrying on. I'm not always in the right place at the right time, but if I am I will stick something up here and take the flak accordingly.
